Details: Just started a new adventure and endeavour in my life. Becoming like a young bird leaving the nest, and flying solo into the world. I had left the family business some years ago, but only recently decided to meld two passions in my life-pastel/pencil painting and love of animals. Have been painting since childhood. As to animals, well where do I begin? Presently, have 2 rescued cats, and a nice looking horse.Of course, the wildlife that stops by to visit my home is another story.ie. ducks, rabbits, turtles. Over the years, family and friends have commissioned paintings by me to be given as gifts. I have drawn anything from cats, dogs, horses, birds to a wolf.So here it goes-pet and animal portraiture done by Rita Rauscher. The website in currently being designed. Wow what a lot to think about in setting up a pet portrait business! However, I am looking forward with excitement in showcasing my work.
